1)      Change to the past continuous tense.

Follow the example:

Nick sleeps on the sofa.  

                                              Nick was sleeping on the sofa.

2)      Write questions and answers and present and past continuous tense.

Follow the example:

Does Paul watch a great movie?  / yes

Was Paul watching a great movie?

Yes, he was.

a)      Do they sing a bored song? / no

b)      Does he read a book? / yes

c)       Does she cook the dinner? / No

d)      Do we paint a portrait? / yes

3)      Write questions and answers.

Follow the example:

Peter /arrive home      ---      Ana/ cleaning the house

What was Ana doing when Peter arrived home?

When he arrived home, she was cleaning the house.

4)      Write a paragraph about a topic you like. Use past continuous tense.
